KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared December 3, 2025 as Pakistan Women Entrepreneurship Day (PWED) — a nationwide mega-push to turbocharge women’s business participation and smash financial inclusion barriers. PWED 2025 will spotlight female innovators, job creators and leaders through massive awareness drives, the Business Idea Competition 2025, and a week-long blitz of events starting December 1 across 16 SBP field offices. Highlights include the glittering Women of Impact Awards honouring Innovative Leader, Social Impact, Sustainability Champion, Resilience, plus Top Performance and Tech Innovator bank awards. The grand finale hits SBP Karachi with Governor Jameel Ahmad, bank CEOs and star women entrepreneurs under one roof — banks nationwide will roll out their own events till December 5, turning Pakistan into a celebration of women-led business power.
