Petrol to Drop Rs4, Diesel Rs6.50, Major Relief Coming

ISLAMABAD: Petroleum prices are set for a massive plunge — petrol could crash Rs3.70–4.15/litre to ~Rs261.30–261.75, HSD down Rs4.28–6.50/litre to ~Rs271.94–280.16, kerosene Rs0.70, and LDO a whopping Rs6.35/litre. Ex-refinery prices are also tanking: diesel -Rs6.10, petrol -Rs3.75. Global oil softened — Brent -2.5% to $63.43, WTI -1.4% to $59.04, Arab Light -2.2% to $65.61 — dragging international petrol -2.7% and diesel -3.8%. If the government green-lights the full cut, winter bills just got a lot lighter.
