KP Excise Seals Properties in Tax Defaulter Crackdown

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has ramped up its property tax recovery blitz, sealing multiple residential and commercial properties across the city for chronic non-payment under ETO-VI Ejaz Khan’s command. The department vowed no mercy for defaulters — indiscriminate crackdown continues, no one above the law. Citizens urged to clear dues fast or face penalties, legal action, or property seals. Director Syed ul-Amin inspected Property Tax Offices Peshawar-II & VI, chairing a high-level review to accelerate collections, devise aggressive strategies, and boost staff performance with courteous taxpayer facilitation. He ordered tighter monitoring of GIS-based property survey teams to modernize operations, slash corruption, and deliver transparent, hassle-free tax system.
