PSX to Remain Closed on February 5

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will observe a closure on Thursday, February 5, 2026, following the federal government’s declaration of a public holiday on account of Kashmir Day, as confirmed through an official notice issued earlier this week.

In a formal notification circulated among TRE Certificate Holders, PSX employees, and other relevant stakeholders, the Exchange announced that all trading activities and related market operations will remain suspended for the day. Normal trading and operational functions are scheduled to resume in accordance with the standard trading calendar thereafter.

The notification, issued by the Trading and TREC Affairs Department, has been duly shared with key regulatory and market institutions, including the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Central Depository Company (CDC), and the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL).

For public awareness and transparency, the notice has also been published on the official PSX website, ensuring broad dissemination among market participants and stakeholders.
