Pakistan Bike Sales Surge 32% in FY26

According to figures issued by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA), Pakistan’s motorcycle and three-wheeler market recorded a substantial 32.04% expansion during the first seven months of FY2025–26 compared with the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

From July through January, cumulative sales climbed to 1,103,356 units, a marked rise from 835,616 units posted in the same timeframe last year — reflecting strengthening consumer demand and improved market activity.

Within the two-wheeler category, Honda maintained market dominance, with sales advancing 34.49% to 945,801 units, up from 703,226 units. Suzuki registered a sharper percentage gain of 45.80%, achieving 20,282 units compared to 13,910 units previously. United Auto also demonstrated steady growth, with volumes increasing 26.54% to 101,703 units from 80,370 units.

Conversely, Yamaha experienced a significant contraction, as sales declined 57.43%, falling to 1,333 units from 3,132 units during the comparable period.

In the three-wheeler segment, United Auto improved its performance, with sales rising from 581 units to 844 units. Qingqi recorded moderate growth of 5.30%, reaching 6,532 units versus 6,203 units a year earlier. However, Sazgar posted a marginal decline of 2.21%, with sales easing to 14,574 units compared to 14,904 units in the same period last year.

These figures indicate a broader resurgence in Pakistan’s automotive sector, with implications for commercial activity, financing trends, and regulatory oversight within the industry.
