OGDCL Receives Eighth Circular Debt Installment

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited has confirmed receipt of Rs. 7.725 billion as the eighth consecutive monthly interest installment from Power Holding (Private) Limited pursuant to the government-sanctioned circular debt settlement framework.

This disbursement constitutes part of a cumulative Rs. 92 billion interest obligation, structured for repayment in twelve equal monthly installments commencing July 2025. Each installment has been fixed at Rs. 7.725 billion in accordance with the approved financial mechanism.

The payment reflects the ongoing execution of the Federal Government’s policy initiative aimed at mitigating circular debt exposure within Pakistan’s energy sector and reinforcing liquidity management across state-linked energy enterprises.
