Habib Metropolitan Bank Reappoints Chairman And CEO

Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited has announced key leadership continuity decisions, including the re-election of Mohamedali R. Habib as Chairman of the Board and the approval of the reappointment of Khurram Shahzad Khan as President and Chief Executive Officer for an additional three-year term.

According to disclosures submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the re-election of the Chairman has taken effect from March 30, 2026.

The Board of Directors has further approved the continuation of the current CEO, subject to regulatory clearance under the fit and proper criteria prescribed by the State Bank of Pakistan.

Upon receipt of the necessary approval, the Chief Executive Officer will continue to serve in the role for a further three-year tenure, ensuring leadership stability and continuity in the bank’s governance structure.
