Industry stakeholders have indicated that inter-city transport fares have been raised within the range of 25% to 30% across multiple routes. Further adjustments remain under consideration, pending ongoing consultations with relevant regulatory authorities.

Representatives from the transport sector have expressed concerns that the government’s subsidy framework, including fixed monthly financial support for buses and freight vehicles, is insufficient to counterbalance the rising cost of diesel.
