Balochistan Launches One-Window Business Facilitation Centre

The Government of Balochistan has introduced a Business Facilitation Centre (BFC) as part of its broader initiative to streamline regulatory processes and enhance the province’s investment climate.

According to official statements, the BFC will function as an integrated one-window digital platform, enabling investors and entrepreneurs to access a range of governmental services through a unified interface. These services include business registration, licensing, and the procurement of requisite regulatory approvals necessary for the establishment and operation of commercial enterprises.

The initiative was formally presented to stakeholders at the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry during a briefing conducted by the Chief Executive Officer of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade.

The presenting official emphasized that the platform has been designed to minimize the need for interaction with multiple government departments, thereby reducing administrative bottlenecks and enhancing operational efficiency. The measure is expected to contribute significantly toward improving the overall ease of doing business within the province.

Members of the business community have responded positively to the development, noting that the establishment of a centralized system for regulatory approvals and service delivery has been a long-standing demand of the private sector.
