OGRA Slashes LPG Prices for July 2026

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a substantial reduction in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for July 2026, providing significant cost relief to domestic and commercial consumers amid persistent inflationary pressures.

According to an official notification issued by OGRA, the notified LPG price has been reduced by Rs67.33 per kilogram, bringing the regulated rate down to Rs241.43 per kg, effective July 1, 2026. During June 2026, the applicable notified price stood at Rs309 per kg.

As a result of the revised pricing, the cost of a standard 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs794.05, with the new notified price fixed at Rs2,848.91, compared to Rs3,644 during the previous month.

Commercial consumers will also receive notable relief under the revised pricing mechanism. The price of a commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by approximately Rs3,057, lowering its notified price to Rs10,960 for July 2026.

OGRA confirmed that the revised LPG prices became effective from 12:00 midnight on July 1, 2026, and will remain applicable throughout the month of July unless revised through a subsequent notification.

The downward revision is expected to ease fuel expenses for millions of households that rely on LPG for cooking and heating, particularly in areas where natural gas infrastructure is unavailable or limited.

The price reduction is also anticipated to benefit commercial users, including restaurants, hotels, catering businesses, bakeries, and small industrial units, by lowering operating costs associated with LPG consumption.

The revised prices have been notified through OGRA’s official monthly pricing notification and shall remain in force for the duration of July 2026.
