PM Shehbaz Sharif Meets US Investment Delegation to Discuss Opportunities in Pakistan

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif welcomed an international investors' delegation, headed by Gentry Beach, a prominent investor from the United States, to discuss the flourishing investment landscape and economic prospects of Pakistan.

A press release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated that during the meeting, PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their interest in exploring business ventures in Pakistan. He assured them of the government's strong commitment to supporting foreign investors by creating a favorable business climate, simplifying procedures, and offering robust institutional support.

The prime minister emphasized Pakistan’s strategic location, youthful and skilled workforce, and expanding consumer market as key factors that make the country an attractive global investment hub.

Mr. Gentry Beach praised Pakistan’s vast economic potential and shared his delegation’s enthusiasm for investing in diverse sectors, such as mining, renewable energy, infrastructure development, and technology.

He also acknowledged the government’s investor-friendly policies and expressed confidence in Pakistan’s future economic growth.

This high-level meeting reflects the government’s proactive efforts to attract foreign direct investment, stimulate sustainable growth, and create job opportunities for Pakistan’s citizens.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Attaullah Tarar, Minister for State Ali Prevaiz Malik, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, were also present during the discussion.
