Rehan Naseem Bharara, President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), emphasized that minimizing taxes is crucial to attract both local and foreign investments. These investments, he noted, are key to driving socioeconomic growth, reducing poverty, creating job opportunities, and supporting development projects for the public's benefit.
Speaking to the under-training officers at the Pakistan Provincial Services Academy (PPSA) Peshawar, he welcomed the delegates and highlighted that the visit would offer a valuable opportunity for public servants to enhance their skills in addressing administrative and economic challenges effectively.
Bharara elaborated on the FCCI’s role in industrial development, the importance of public-private collaboration, and the various challenges and opportunities the industrial sector faces. He also engaged with the officers, answering their questions and encouraging them to serve the country with dedication, commitment, and integrity.
Abdul Sattar, Chief Instructor at PPSA, provided an overview of the study tour’s goals and objectives. At the end of the meeting, the President of FCCI and Mr. Abdul Sattar exchanged organizational shields as a symbol of mutual respect and cooperation.
