KP Government Launches Integrated IT Portal for Financial Oversight

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has introduced a province-wide Integrated IT Portal to enhance financial transparency, public spending oversight, and service delivery efficiency. This makes KP the first province in Pakistan to implement a comprehensive digital financial monitoring system.

Developed with technical support from the UK-funded Sub-National Governance (SNG) Programme, the portal will centralize financial and operational data across 181 public sector organizations. It features real-time KPIs, interactive dashboards, and automated reporting, allowing the Corporate Governance Unit (CGU) to enforce fiscal discipline effectively.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur officially inaugurated the system in Peshawar, alongside senior officials and development partners. The IT portal is now mandatory for public entities, including universities, hospitals, municipal units, and autonomous bodies.

By integrating real-time financial tracking and automated performance reports, the KP government aims to improve governance, strengthen accountability, and ensure efficient decision-making. Additionally, the province’s first-ever Service Delivery Performance Monitoring Report was presented, marking a major step toward institutional transparency.
