The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has scheduled a three-day closure for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025, keeping its offices shut from Monday, March 31, to Wednesday, April 2, 2025, to mark the holiday.
In a statement released on Friday, the central bank confirmed the shutdown, aligning with the federal government’s public holiday announcement for the occasion.
The government had previously declared a three-day holiday for its offices, spanning March 31 to April 2, 2025. The Cabinet Secretariat issued a notice stating that the Prime Minister had greenlit the break for Eid-ul-Fitr.
Eid-ul-Fitr this year is expected to occur on either April 10 or April 11, depending on when the moon is sighted.
