KPITB Partners with 1LINK for Digital Payment Solutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has forged a landmark agreement with 1LINK, Pakistan’s premier payment system and bill aggregator, to revolutionize digital payment solutions for public sector services across the province.

This strategic partnership aligns with the Chief Minister’s vision to drive transparency, financial inclusion, and citizen convenience through digital transformation. By integrating a wide array of government services with 1LINK’s Bill Aggregation System (BAS), citizens can now make payments seamlessly via internet banking, mobile apps, ATMs, and agent networks supported by major banks and digital wallets.

The system leverages real-time transaction processing within a secure, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)-compliant infrastructure, eliminating the need for physical payment counters and delivering a streamlined experience. It enhances government revenue collection, curbs leakages, and ensures efficient cash flow with real-time traceability.

Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Science, Technology & IT, emphasized that this initiative reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to building a digitally empowered Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, making public services more accessible, efficient, and secure for all.
