In the open market, it strengthened by 6 paise for buying (282.27) and 10 paise for selling (283.10), added 4 paise against the UAE dirham for buying (76.83) with selling steady at 77.10, and gained 4 paise against the Saudi riyal for buying (75.13) with selling at 75.40, but slipped against the euro, losing 80 paise for buying (328.90) and 87 paise for selling (330.87).
