ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has prolonged the deadline for submitting income tax returns for tax year 2025 by an additional 16 days, establishing the new cutoff at October 31, 2025.
An FBR spokesperson verified the extension to Business Recorder on Wednesday.
The deadline was previously extended by 15 days to October 15, following appeals from trade bodies, tax bar associations, and the general public.
