ISLAMABAD: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) hosted a dynamic awareness session for Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) officials at its Head Office, reinforcing its drive for business formalisation and ease of doing business.
Commissioner (LRD) Muzzafar Ahmed Mirza kicked off the event, pledging SECP’s unwavering support. Registrar of Companies Shahzad Afzal Khan delivered a comprehensive briefing on SECP’s regulatory mandate, its nine Company Registration Offices (CROs), and the seamless digital incorporation via the eZfile portal.
The presentation delved into local and foreign company registration protocols, documentation requirements, business structures, governing laws for companies and LLPs, and incorporation advantages.
SIFC officials engaged vigorously, probing regulatory and procedural nuances. SECP experts highlighted five-year company registration growth and streamlining initiatives for enhanced service delivery.
The session wrapped with a strategic dialogue on bolstering SECP-SIFC collaboration to accelerate business entry and regulatory efficiency in Pakistan.
