FBR Sets ADRC Pay: Up to Rs500K per Case

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has overhauled the remuneration structure for ADRC chairman and members, unveiling a one-time, tax-liability-based payout via SRO 2076(I)/2025, amending Income Tax Rules, 2002.

Chairman: Rs500,000 for >Rs50 million cases; Rs300,000 for ≤Rs50 million. Members: Rs250,000 (>Rs50 million); Rs150,000 (≤Rs50 million). Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue excluded.

TA/DA included: Chairman = BPS-22; Members = BPS-21 federal officer rates.

The revamp streamlines ADRC finances, calibrating pay to dispute scale for fair, efficient resolution.
