It has been observed that in case of Transshipment GD (TPs), invoices and packing list are either not machine numbered or only one page is machine numbered. Similarly detailed description like make, model, art number, weight and size etc. are also not declared in the invoices and packing lists. This trend is on increase in case of TRs of miscellaneous goods.

Therefore, all concerned are informed that in case of TPs, the bonded Cartier shall specifically declare number of pages invoice and packing lists attached in column 18 of the GD. In case of non-declaration or non-submission of detailed packing list or invoice the CSC shall not accept or process the TP.

In case the bonded carrier attaches only on page of packing list or invoice and later on more than one page of the same are discovered, strict action shall be taken against the bonded carrier under the law.
