SUB:            Implementation of valuation rulings

Please refer to the subject cited above.

2.       Hard copies of Valuation Rulings issued by the Directorate General of Customs Valuation Karachi, as and when received, are being invariably circulated to all groups for instantaneous implementation. Moreover, M/s. PRAL has also confirmed that soft copies of the said rulings are readily available at the desktops of all Assessing Officers posted in the Collectorate

3.       You are, accordingly, requested to ensure proper and timely implementation of Valuation Rulings in their true spirit by the Assessing Officers. If any deviation is found at the port importation audit stage, the same shall be dealt with seriously and appropriate action would be initiated against the concerned Assessing Officer.
