STANDING ORDER 01/2012-(A)

In pursuance of findings of Honorable F.T.O. in complaint No. 148-K dated 09.07.2009 and consequent upon the rejection of the FBR’s representation by the President of Pakistan vide Ministry of law Justice letter No. 55/2009 Law dated 25.09.2012, following standing instructions are issued for compliance:-

(i)        In case of import in manufacturing Bond Scheme the P.D.C. furnished at the time of importers will be released when evidence of exports is produced by the importer without delay as required under the Custom Act and the Rules made there under.

(ii)      Certificate of delay and detention will be issued to the importer on the same day on which it is applied in genuine cases after necessary verification in the light of corroborative evidence regarding delay to be provided by the importer.

(iii)     The Terminal Operators are directed to honour the delay and detention certificates ­issued by the Department as prescribed vide SRO 82(l)/2008 DATED 25.01.2008.

2.         All concerned are directed to strictly observe these orders.
