Circular 

Subject:        Security measures for customs house.

To beef up the security of Custom House all the officers, staff, clearing agents & visitors are informed that following security measure will be strictly observed from 15th August 2013:-

(i)            All the officers, staff, clearing agents visiting working in Custom House must display their office cards during office hours.

(ii)          The security staff at gates will have right to disallow entry to any officer/staff/clearing agent who will not be displaying their office cards after 15th August, 2013.

(iii)         A register will be maintained at the gate of Custom House. All other visitors who don't possess official card of Custom House or clearing agency will submit their original CNIC or such other photo ID and they will be issued a visitor card. These visitors are also bound to display their visitor cards while moving inside Custom House.

(iv)         After 15th August, 2013, only those vehicles will be allowed entry into the Custom House which would be displaying valid stickers for entry into Custom House, Karachi as issued by MCC (Preventive). The officers who don't possess such stickers are advised to get the same from CHO, Custom House. Karachi.

(v)          No Car Sticker will be issued without the approval of the ACP (HQ-I).

(vi)         Other visitors and motorcyclists may park their vehicles/motorcycles in the specified parking available in the parking compound in front of Main KPT Building.

(vii)        The staff at gates will allow entry of only those vehicles which will have valid stickers, after thorough checking of the vehicles. The CHO will ensure proper parking of vehicles inside the Custom House.
