SUB:             SOP for approval of show to PRAL GDs pertaining to manufacturing bond etc.

In order to streamline and simplify the procedure for filing of GDs where WeBOC Module is not available to One Customs such as in Manufacturing Bond, SRO 326 & 327(I)/2009, Imports of EPZ’s, Defence Procurements and others, following procedure would apply:

a)    Clearing Agent / Trader would appear before the Assistant/Deputy Collector incharge Imports Section and submit the relevant documents related to his request in order to establish that his GD cannot be filed through the WeBOC system.

b)    Assistant/Deputy Collector Imports, after scrutinizing the documents and satisfying her/himself that the request is genuine, will allow the same immediately. Permission will be entered in the One Customs System using his/her own User ID. This will not be treated as routine affair and every precaution will be exercised that permission is granted correctly.

c)    In case of any ambiguity whether a request is allowable or not Assistant/Deputy Collector will immediately discuss and sort out the same in consultation with the Additional Collector concerned.

2. This order will remain operative till the time, related modules are not developed and deployed by the Directorate General of Reforms & Automation. Once this is done, then this order will become automatically in fructuous.
