OFFICE ORDER

SUB:        INFORMATION REGARDING WORKING OF PRIVATE STAFF (LAPIIS) AND OTHER CUSTOMS RELATED STAFF ).

Reference Board’s letter C.No (34) E&C/2015 datad29th April, 2015 on the above cited subject.

            It has been brought to the knowledge of the Board that many private persons (Lapoos) are working in various sections / groups by using Clearing Agent Smart Card and Officers / officials Users I.D and their Passwords. It has been decided that if any Lapoo keeping a Clearing Agent I.D is found working in Custom Station the owner of the Clearing Agency as well as the Section Head in which he was working will be responsible and stern action will be taken against them as per law.

In view of above all the Sectional heads are directed to ensure that ni private person (call Lapoos)is allowed to work at any Custom Station including custom House.
