SUB: CHANGES IN THE WEBOC SOFTWARE
Kindly refer to the subject noted above and find enclosed changes incorporated in the WeBOC software on the basis of the feedback received from different Collectorate w.e.f. 16.03.2015 for your kind information. For smoot implementation of CRF No: 282-07052014, Collectors, MCC, Appraisement, West/East and PMBQ are requested to ensure following actions:
i) Dedicated AC/DC MIS may please be posted for at least 15 days to facilitate shipping lines/agents for manifest modifications/changes.
ii) To issue comprehensive SOP for manifest amendments as its volume is bond to increase after implementation of subject change.
iii) Terminal Operators may be directed not to assign DND status to the containers which, at the time of discharge, are found to contain numbers mismatched with the manifested numbers. Instead, they may detain such containers and Shipping Lines/ Agent then get updated the same through AC/Dc MIS.
2. This office appreciates the feedback received from the Collectorates for improvement of the WeBOC software. The support team may be contacted at support.weboc@pral.com.pk for further assistance and support. Collectorates are requested to circulate the new changes to the stakeholders for information.
