OFFICE ORDER

            For effective implementation of SRO 598(I)/2022 dated 19.05.2022 read with Ministry of Commerce clarification issued vide F.No 2(5)/2021-IMP-IlI dated 26.05.2022 & F.No 2(5)/2021-IMP-III dated 30.06.2022, it is hereby directed that assessment of all Goods Declaration (GDs) in respect of the items notified vide the SRO shall be finalized at the level of Assistant Collector of Customs of the concerned group. While finalizing such Goods Declarations (GDs), the date on Master BL shall be taken as the cut-off date for implementation of the ban read with para 4 of the Import Policy Order 2022. The GDs relating to raw materials, intermediate goods and industrial equipment/machinery imported by industrial/ manufacturing concerns and foreign grant-in-aid projects shall be facilitated as per clarification issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
