CIRCULAR

SUB: -  IMPLEMENTATION OF PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 07/2015 DATED 18.02.2015 REGARDING AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE ON BEHALF OF THE IMPORTERS/ CLEARING AGENTS

It has been observed with concern that Public Notice No. 07/2015 (EAST) dated 18.02.2015 (copy enclosed) is not being compiled with in true letter and spirit. The unauthorized persons appear for hearing before officers without having any authority letter / permit issued by the Importer / Clearing Agent. 

2.      Henceforth, all officers/ official of this Collectorate may ensure compliance of above mentioned Public Notice and not to entertain any unauthorized person. Furthermore, any person, at the time of filing of the goods declaration in the WeBOC system on self-clearance basis, shall carry the authorization letter along with CNIC during their visit to the Collectorate. Any lapse in this regard will be viewed seriously.
