OFFICE ORDER NO. 91/2022 (APPRAISEMENT-EAST)

Sub:  PROCEDURE FOR ALLOWING WITHDRAWAL OF AMOUNT BY USER FROM THEIR PRE-PACT ACCOUNT,

            In order to streamline and facilitate the speedy withdrawal of amounts by users from their Pre-Pact Accounts, the following procedure shall be adopted:

a)    The user shall file online application in WeBOC System in terms of Rule 535 of the Customs Rules, 2001, for withdrawal of amount from the Pre-Pact Account. The user shall also intimate the system generated Refund Application Number through a written application to the Assistant/Deputy Collector (Refund) for ease of reference to early locate the Refund Application in the WeBOC System.

b)    The Assistant/ Deputy Collector (Refund), upon receipt of written intimation letter, shall process the case and shall allow to print the Cheque forthwith.

c)    The cross cheques so printed shall be signed by the Assistant/Deputy Collector (Refund) and the same shall be dispatched, as envisaged under Rule 535 of the Customs Rules, 2001 in favor of account number of the user against information provided by the user in his user profile in WeBOC System.

d)    In case Assistant/Deputy Collector (Refund) is of the view that prior to allowing  withdrawal, some specific verification is required in any specific case, the same shall be done after approval of the Additional Collector (Refund) with written justification thereof.
