PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 16/1983 (APPRAISEMENT) 

REMOVAL OF DUTY PAID GOODS FROM BONDED WAREHOUSE.

The importers whose goods are lying in the Public Bonded Warehouses beyond the permissible period of warehousing are hereby advised in their own interest to get the consignments cleared on payment of duty and sales tax etc. and inform the Bond Section of the Custom Houses Karachi as well as the Warehouse keeper about such payment immediately. The importers who have deposited the duty and taxes leviable on such goods are also advised to remove the goods immediately from the Warehouses and inform the Bond Section and the Warehouse keeper in order to obviate the possibility such duty paid goods being put to auction. The provisions of Custom Act envisage the warehousing of only those goods whose duty and taxes are still payable.
