STANDING ORDER NO.16/1991 (APPRAISEMENT) 

The Clause-V of the Standing Order No.3/1991 is amended with immediate effect. The new clause shall read as under:

(V) “Private Offers can be submitted only 24 hours before the auction to the concerned Assistant Collector. The post auction private offers shall be entertained by Collector of Customs (Appraisement), if the offer is higher than the highest bid received in the open auction and must accompany pay order of 100% of the offered price. The Collector or an Officer authorized by him, on his behalf will give another opportunity to highest bidder of the open auction to compete with the private offer in his presence.”
