SUB: PROCEDURE REGARDING DEPOSIT OF REBATE CHEQUES IN NATIONAL BANK OF PAKISTAN, CUSTOM HOUSE BRANCH, KARACHI.
In pursuance of C.G.O. 23/1989 and Standing Order No. 03/1990(P) dated 30.01.1990, for deposit rebate cheques in the National Bank of Pakistan Custom House Branch, Karachi, the following procedure will be adopted:-
After preparation, all the cheques should be sent to the Bank on the next day duly entered in a register in the following manner:-

The staff/cashier of Bank will receive the cheques and affix the acknowledgement stamp on the register and return the register to Treasury Section.
Intimation regarding deposit/ credit of cheque in the National Bank of Pakistan, Custom House Branch, Karachi, will be separately issued through ordinary post. The specimen of intimation is attached.
A separate statement showing the particulars of cheque should also submitted to Rebate Section.
