PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 24/1994(APPRAISEMENT)
SUB: IMPORT OF ANIMALS & ANIMAL PRODUCTS WITHOUT CLEARNACE HEALTH CERTIFICATE.
It has been brought to the notice of this Collectorates by the of Food Agriculture i Live Stocks (Live Stock wing) Animal import Department Karachi that animals are production cannot imported or exported without health certificate or Clearance of the officer of Federal Government according to Pakistan Animals (Import and Export of Animals) Act, 1979.
It is, therefore, notified that the Importers/Exporters and Agents engaged in import and export of animals and animal product (as per list attached) are required to produce health certificate issued by Animal Quarantine Department at the time import/export of such goods. The Custom Staff would endorse the file i.e. No. and date these certificate in the bill of and clearing agent shall ensure submission of requisite quarantine prior to examination /assessment of the consignment by the staff.
