SUB:          CHARGE OF PCT CLASSIFICATION OF HI-BOUNCHING BALL   FROM HEADING 97.06 TO 97.03

Hi-Bouncing Balls were being assessed by the Custom House for a long time under heading 97.06 PCT. The Tariff classification and the consequent import status for these goods have now been examined in detail.

        It is observed that the Hi-Bouncing Balls in description falling in the category of toys correctly classifiable under PCT heading 97.03 corresponding to serial No. 97.03 of PCT heading and import thereof is not permissible under the current Import Policy Order, 1980. All concerned are therefore advised the charge of classification of above.
