PUBLIC NOTICE NO.3/1996-(APPRAISEMENT) 

SUB:  ACCEPTANCE OF TENDER AFTER OPEN AUCTION. 

The existing procedure for entertaining the tender officers after open auction as per Standing Order No. 11/95 dated 4.11.1995 has been reviewed. It is hereby -outfield for the information of all concerned that on completion of daily auction, particulars of each lot with highest bid shall be displayed on the notice board of the auction section. In case if any person is interested to purchase a lot he will be required to submit a sealed tender of higher offer to Assistant Collector (Auction) within 24 -hours (excluding holidays)'of the display on the notice board. Such tender must be higher by at least 15% of the total tender value. The Assistant Collector (Auction) shall open the tender in the office in his office in the presence of the highest bidder and the tender, and after conducting bidding them shall be put up the case immediately to the competent authority for approval. The earnest money would be returned/adjusted, as the case may be. No higher offer/tender would be entertained after the approval of tender/bid by the competent authority.
