PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 9/1996 ESTT (EXPORTS)

Exporters are aware that this Collectorate issues duty drawback cheques by courier service on their given address on “to pay basis” and that the courier services do not accent any documents addressed a “P.O. Box”.

2.         Therefore, in order to ensure that the duty drawback claims are not delayed, all the exporters are hereby advised as not to write any “P.O. Box No.” as their address on the bill of export or duty drawback claim.

3.         Henceforth, the counter clerks will not accept any bills of export or duty drawback claims that only mention “P.O. Box No.” and do not contain the full address of the exporters.
