PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 05/1999 (EXPORTS)

                                                                                                                                                                                It has come to the notice of this Collectorate that various courier companies since the start of this scheme, dealing with the delivery of duty drawback cheques on "to collect" basis within Karachi City were charging exorbitant rates from the exporters which in certain cases were upto Rs. 60/-

2.         Taking cognizance of the matter, the official delivery rates within Karachi City have been negotiated with the courier companies and it is notified for the information of all concerned that henceforth no courier company shall charge the exporters more than Rs.35/- for delivery within the civil division of Karachi. Any instance of over-charging may be reported by individual exporter or through the concerned association to Collector (Exports) directly.
