SUB:  USE OF ABBREVIATION INSTEAD OF COMPLETE DESCRIPTION OF GOODS ON EXPORT DOCUMENTS.  

Instances have come to notice where exporters/Custom’s clearing agents do not declare complete description and specification of the goods on export documents and at times use abbreviations which are none to miss-use.

2.         It is hereby ordered the exporters/Custom’s Rearing agents shall write complete description and specification of goods on the export documents. All such export documents on which declaration of goods is made in the exporters so that, exporter/Custom’s clearing agent shall write complete details of the goods on all the export documents.
