PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 01/2003 [PQ]

It is hereby notified for the information of trade that no PGD shall be accepted under the provision of Section 79(2) of the Customs Act, 1969 with effect from 5.6.2003-unless it is ascertained that the goods has actually been arrived and relevant manifest delivered in the relevant section/unit of the Custom House. The name and the date of arrival of the importing vessel should be distinctly shown on the PGD so that the facts of actual can be determined.

2.         This is a temporary restriction on account of the presentation of the Federal Budget for the Year 2003-2004. This order shall remain valid upto 7.6.2003.
