PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 02/2003-[PQ]

The Federal Budget is expected to be announced on 7th June 2003, all Deputy/Assistant Collectors, Chief Accounts Officer, Principal Appraisers and SPSs are instructed to attend the meeting in the Chamber of Collector Port Qasim at the time of announcement of the Federal Budget.

The Assistant Collector, Bulk and Processing shall verify the last token number and machine number issued on   6-6-2003 after that it shall also be ensured through the computer system that no further token number is issued after above referred PGD as normal work shall resume on the next working day.

All the PGDs shall be received at the Customs Facilitation Centre through receiving counter. However the same shall be delivered on the next working day.

No assessment shall be made on PGD manifested on 7.6.2003 i.e. the Budget day, and the ex-bond PGD presented on 7.6.2003 shall not be processed on the Budget day.

All Deputy/Assistant Collector, CAO, Principal Appraisers and SPSs shall attend a meeting regarding budget clarification immediately after announcement of the Budget r the office of Additional Collector of Customs Port Muhammad Bin Qasim.
