PUBLIC NOTICE NO.29/2005(A) 

SUB:              ELECTRONIC FILING OF GOODS DECLARATION (G.D).

In order to facilitate the trade hassle attached with filing of soft copy of Goods Declaration through floppy diskette, compact disk, USB etc., it has been decided, w.e.f. 11.11.2005., to offer the importers / clearing agents to file their Goods Declaration over the web. It is, therefore, advised that all importers / clearing agents should acquire their pin code and file their Goods Declaration through Electronic Filing link provided on Customs page at CBR's website www.cbr.gov.pk and, with effect from 11.11.2005, file their Goods Declaration over the web before submitting their hard copies of G.D. (paper G.D) in Customer Service Center (CSC) for machine numbering etc.
