STANDING ORDER NO. 4/1994-COLL (EXP)

In order to facilitate the exporters it has been decided that the duty drawback claims without Bank Credit Advice (BCA) will be received at the counter so that these do not become time-barred.

2.         On receipt at the counter, these claims will be entered into separate register and the particulars thereof will be entered in the computer. These claims will be assigned a “Provisional Registration Number” (P.R. number) and a stamp indicating date of registration and P.R. number shall be affixed on the duty drawback claim in token of their being received at the counter. After registration these claims well be handed over to the exporter or his authorized representative. The exporter or his authorized representative after the receipt of BCA will bring the duty drawback claims and will get SR2 number. The claim will then be forwarded from counter to the concerned group for processing.

3.         While processing the claim, the period for calculating time bar shall be the period from M.R. date to the date of provisional registration.
