SUB:              ELECTRONIC FILING OF GDs OVER THE WEB

In order to facilitate trade, in the swift clearance of import cargo, it has been decided that with effect from 26-12-2005, all clearing agents given in the list at Annex-A, to this Public Notice shall compulsorily file GDs over the web. No. floppy disc compact disc, flash (USB) etc., will be acceptable in this respect.

2.         All concerned clearing agents may contact the CSC for allocation of specific user IDs and passwords for web filing of GDs, at the counter designated for issuance of the same.

3.         For the purpose of GD filing coupon shall be purchased from CSC counter in advance so that the coupon numbers may be incorporated in the GDs accordingly.
