PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 06/2007(A) 

SUB:              PROCEDURE REGARDING AUTOMATED PROCESSING OF ITEM ATTRACTING CUSTOMS DUTY @ 0% TO 5%

The para No. 1 (iv) of Public Notice No. 05/2007 (A) dated 20.02.2007 shall be read as under:-

i.              The principal Appraiser (Sheds) may order for 100% examination of any consignments processed under this procedure, provide he has sufficient reasons to believe that the declaration made in respect thereof is doubtful or not correct and record his reasons for doing so in writing on the reverse of the Goods Declaration. 

02.       This Public Notice shall take effect from 26.02.2007.
