STANDING ORDER NO: 11/1995-(APPRAISEMENT)

In order to rationalize the existing procedure of bidding and processing of files for approval of the highest bids offered in the open auction, it has been decided that henceforth prior to submission of files to the Assistant Collector (Auction), Deputy Collector (Sheds) and Collector for approval of bids of category A, B and C respectively, necessary particulars with highest bid of all such cases shall be displayed on Notice Board in the auction section on the day of auction. In case if any other person is interested in the notified lots, a sealed tender of higher offer may be submitted to Assistant Collector (Auction) within two days of display. Such tender must be higher by 10% from the highest bid and duly backed by pay order equivalent atlas 25% of the total tender value. This earnest money would be returned/adjusted as per result of the bid between the tendered and the original bidder.

No higher offer/bid would be entertained after approval of tendered/bid by the competent authority except in cases wherein offered bid is at least thirty percent higher them the approved bid and pay order is submitted for the whole amount.
