Public Notice No. 01/2009-EXPORTS.

SUB:              Electronic Filing of Export General Manifest (EGM).

            In order to facilitate the trade and expedite the exports through usage of technology, electronic submission of Export General Manifest (EGM) along with Mate Receipts by all Shipping lines / agents had been put in place vide Office Order No. 1/2009 (E)-West Wharf dated 10.01.2009.

2.         It has however, noticed that shipping agents are filing EGM through the Web electronically but are not furnishing Mate Receipt numbers.All this shipping Agents are therefore, asked to submit mate receipt numbers electronically by 15.04.2009 failing which the licenses issuing authority i-e Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Custom House, Karachi shall be asked to initiate penal actions against the concerned Licensees.
