PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 01/2009(A)

            In further modification of Public Notice No. 15/2007-A(III),the members of fabric experts committee are notified hereunder:

            (i)         Mr. Umar Saeed

                        Assistant Professor (Weaving) Textile Institute of Pakistan

            (ii)        Mr. Kashif Ahmed

                        Assistant Director

                        Textile Commissioner’s Organization

            (iii)       Mr. Ashraf Siddique, General Manager,

                        Synthetic Fiber Development & Application Centre (SFDAC)

3.         The consignment of fabrics imported from the free ports like Dubai & Singapore shall first be examined by the Sheds/Examination staff headed by AC/DC sheds in accordance with the provisions of Public Notice No. 15/2007-A(III). In case of dispute, the consignment shall be examined by the aforesaid Committee members along with AC/DC sheds. The Committee shall send its findings of the concerned group along with sealed samples for further processing of the case.
