Public Notice No. 02/2009/Exp/Hq

            With a view to facilitate and expedite the export of mangos, (likely to commence from 20th May 2009), and to streamline the existing procedure, it is hereby ordered for compliance by all concerned that conditions as laid down in (schedule-ii) Sr. No. 18 of Export Policy Order, 2008-09 shall be strictly fulfilled and adhered to. To enforce wieghment criteria as mentioned in Export Policy Order, every export consignment of mangoes shall be accompanied by a detailed packing list mentioning Gross and Net weight of individual packages as well as the total consignment 5% physical examination shall be conducted to verify the declaration of the packing list.

            All Cargo/Shipping Agent are also advised to endorse actual weight of each consignment on Airway Bill/ Bill of Lading at the time of wiehgment. Any laxity on this account will attract due legal action.
