PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 03/2009 MCC (PaCCS) 

SUB:              MISCELLANEOUS GOODS DEALT BY ONE CUSTOMS ONLY

In order to facilitate bona-fide importers of miscellaneous goods, it has been decided that no goods declaration (GD) of miscellaneous goods will be accepted in MCC (PaCCS). All miscellaneous goods as being defined and understood by Customs and Trade i.e. items of multiple HS Codes and PCT Chapters will be filed in non-PaCCS One Customs station. The software of PaCCS has suitably been modified for directing the GDs of miscellaneous goods filed in PaCCS to one Customs. Any goods declaration intentionally filed in PaCCS by mis-declaring the contents shall be cancelled and after 100% examination shall be shown to one Customs and will be re-examined by the One Customs Collectorates. The importer, will however, get the refund of duties and taxes except Income Tax paid up front with the filling of goods declaration, after completion of requisite formalities of refund processing.
