PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 6/2011 (PaCCS)

          In pursuance of Board’s letter C.No. 1(5)R&A/2011 dated 16.12.11, the Microclear based customs clearance system operating at Model Collectorate of Customs PaCCS, Karachi will not entertain VIRs of vessels berthing at PICT w.e.f. 17.12.2011 (00.00 hours). The importers, Exporters, Customs Clearing Agents, Terminal Operators, Shipping Agents and other stakeholders are advised to follow the procedure laid down as under:       

Manifest filing:

No IGM/VIR shall be filed in MCC PaCCS for vessels arriving or departing at PICT after 23:59 hours on 16th December, 2011. IGMs for vessels arriving at PICT after the cutoff date are required to be filed in WeBOC.

            GD filing:

Importers/Clearing Agents shall not file GDs in PaCCS for vessels arriving/berthing at PICT after 23:59 hours on 16th December, 2011.

Exporters/Clearing Agents shall not file GDs in PaCCS for consignments to be exported through PICT after 16th December, 2011 (23:59 hours). No export containers though PICT will be processed in PaCCS for which GD is filed later than 16th December, 2011.

            User IDs:

Those Importers, Exporters, Customs Clearing Agents, Shipping Lines, Shipping Agents, Terminal Operators and other stakeholders who are not registered in WeBOC are advised to obtain WeBOC user IDs.

A Help/Facilitation Desk has been established on the ground floor of the Collectorate to provide necessary assistance to trade including provision of new User IDs in the WeBOC System.

Legacy Issues:

In order to facilitate trade, MCC PaCCS will continue to process/clear pending consignments that have arrived at PICT before the cutoff date and time i.e. 16th December 2011.
